BattleStar Galactica

I needed to convert some VHS to DVD for my Mother so I found this nice Sony dual copier on craigslist. When I went to take a look at it This guy was at his storage unit. It was full of stuff. The Battlestar Galactica stuff was wicked cool. The story this guy gave me was that he has a friend that works for the prop company that made stuff for BG and his friend made him the BSG 75 emblem exact as to the originals made for the show. It is beautiful quality and and after a little doing research I fully believe him. The guy selling was travelling the country and living in a super huge trailer and couldn't keep it. He also had 3 professionally framed posters. I scored big on this buy and got the lot for $120.00. Really makes the office look nice and it helps that I'm a fan of the excellent series. 

Fuji Fine Pix S3000

This was a dollar I coudn't resist. Get this bad boy home turns on fine then I find out I need xD memory for it. xD suxs! nobody uses that anymore O' well.

Dlink USB wireless DWL-G132

This was $2.00 at yard sale and works great speed is G I believe tho, but has been a handy tool for me many times I also got a Bill Clinton Autobiography at this yard sale for a dollar its in guest room.

Nyco Air Flow

I paid $5 for this with a walmart ps3 controller thats missing the receiver bob which makes it useless and is in bottom of bin somewhere.. the Air Flow is kinda cool and its my only PC controller - I need to get windows 7 ps2 to usb adapter so I can use all my PS2 controllers.

Compaq Presario 2200

Compaq Presario 2200 5$ yard sale. Windows 95 media GX CPU mint mint mint. I remember reading about these in computer mags back in the day. I had a cyrix 166 pentium back then I think this is a 180. it boots fine haven't played with the premium sound yet tho. This is probably my favorite piece of computer junk.

Boling Leather Chair

Nice Old Chair leather and Walnut. Paid $10.00 really only wanted to pay 5 but she wouldn't budge. Wife was with me so I got her opinion as well looks great in my office I'm using a black leather creme on it to try to help the seat which has seen better days. really comfortable and I needed a second chair in office.

This thing is so cool - its paint is chipping on 1 side but I love it 50 cent yard sale.

Dollar or less at yard sales usually a dollar is my offer. 3 Sony SCPH 10010, 2 Super Nintendo, 1 Superpad 64, 1 Dream Gear water filled ps2, 1 Madcatz dualforce 2. Can't resist a controller this could be future problem ;).

TV Games

I bought all these at 1 yard sale except the Polaroid that needs a special tv plug. I paid 1 dollar per controller. Classic Arcade Pinball, Bass angler Championship Jakks, Joystick 3D, Namco Plug n Play, Intellivision TV play Power, Video Extrem VS MAXX,Excaliber VR101. The basket came with the purchase in bottom of basket was gameshark cable for DS and guitar hero grip.

Dell 15" monitor and Dell AS501 sound bar

Dell 15" monitor and Dell AS501 sound bar. $10.00. works and sounds great the monitor arm was also purchased at a yard sale for $1.00. I've noticed I really like the square monitor I have a 20 inch Acer wide screen and I don't like it so much now that I'm looking at square screens again..

Sanyo 20inch tv Craigslist $20.00. Needed a tv for testing purposes ;). Lamp is old school nice metal contsruction $2.00 yard sale. The PS2 slim was craigslist for $25.00. Star Trek Encounters, Narnia, Xmen, Lost my notes on this purchase and can't read the titles but I got 8 games all together, 1 of the games The Hobbit didn't work. Ps2 works great.

SNES System

Snes system with games $20.00. I was so hungover for this yard sale it was my first and last of the day didn't even wake up til 9am. This guy had other systems he had already sold. System works well wish I was there at 7am. Disney's Alladin, Super Mario World x2, Contra III, Pilotwing, NHLPA Hockey, Tetris & Dr. Mario, The legend of Zelda - A link to the past, Super Smash TV, and a case to hold the games..

Atari Lot

Atari lot from Craigslist $25.00. 2 systems, 3 old joysticks well used not pictured, broken gameboy with The legend of Zelda Links Awakening game, Archer RF modulator NIB lol,Star raiders joystick and plenty of games. Magamania, Combat, Star raiders x2, Donkey Kong, Swordquest Fireworld, Cosmic Ark, Defender, Pole position, Mario Bros, Jungle Hunt, Grand Prix, Journey escape, E.T., Asteroids.

This was a large haul from Craigslist. The NES needs pins fixed but this came with some great games all for $25.00 I purchase the Atari bundle from same guy at the same time. Solstice, Deadly Towers, Robin Hood, Ghoul School, Star Voyager, Dragon Warrior, The legend of Zelda, The Immortal, Captain Skyhawk+man, Super Mario 3, Double Dragon II The Revenge, Punch-Out!! not mike tyson, Pinball, Mission Impossible, Crysalis, Castlevania, The Adventures of link+man, Faxandu+man, Simons Quest, Heroes of the Lance, Battle Chess,Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, 1 zapper, 1 controller, couple of cases.

Round Rug

Found this rug at a yard sale and works great under our kitchen table, $5.00. I've had good luck with rugs at yard sales.

Telescope

Always wanted a telescope and for $7.00 I now have one. Its an older japanese model but works great.

NES and games

Purchased this from a Craigslist laisting for $20.00. The power supply may be bad in this NES, Tecmo Baseball, Paperboy, Double Dribble, NFL Power Play. NFL power play reviews as just an awful game.

Phone and calculator

Box of junk $1.00.  Later in the day on saturdays yard sale people are just getting rid of stuff I took this box. GE 2-9420a 2 line phone cleaned up well and is a very nice heavy feeling phone. the TI-5035 calculator works fine and has good spacing for keypad but is mad yellow from the sun and screen has a blob on it melted into plastic but it works great. The at&t answering machines might make good project boxes. I have like 5 project boxes for a Raspberry PI.

PS2 FAT

Couldn't resist. 1 dollar for PS2 that was broken-cd try smash and screw missing from back. The controllers were $2 each but in great condition. I should have skipped the controllers and just bought the fat. I'll try and fix another broken ps2 fat I have or use as a project box. For some reason these broken PS2 go for around $30.00 on ebay- I haven't figured out why yet cause working ones with games go for that. Must be money laundering of other crazy ebay scams.

Plano Tackle box

Plano Tackle box, this is huge and I use it for my assorted computer parts. grabbed this for $2.00 it was unsued but garage filthy. Absolutely no fish smell in this bad boy.

Snickers Shelf

Snickers Shelf found at yard sale for $2.00. Will make a nice shop shelf. Its metal.

Golf shoes and glove

Yard sale for $2.00, cleaned up nice, been so long since I last golfed I have metal spikes and courses don't seem to allows those anymore, so I now have a pair ready for use, getting hammered at best ball tournaments is just to much fun I must be prepared!

Compaq SR-1503wm

Grabbed this for $5.00 last fall. At the time I needed a second computer and this was definitely a used computer but I got it running. I regret buying it as the power supply fan puts out smells like the persons house which I can tell you stinks like musty moldy crap covered in febreeze and its a celeron weakling without AGP or PCI express.. I'm going to take it apart and hit it with the air compressor again and use the parts in other projects as you can see that has already begun. Stink is a real issue with yard sales items.

14 PS2 games for $10.00. This is an example of just buying the lot. The lady selling them wanted 2$ a piece I gave her the $10.00 for all and she didn't hesitate. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Kingdom Hearts, MLB06 The Show, Wheel of Fortune, The Sim's bustin out, Cabelas Outdoor adventures, Gran Turismo 4, Call of Duty 2, The Golden Compass. Nascar09, Nascar07, Rockband, Shrek 2, CSI 3 Demisions of Murder.

PS2 games

Yard sale $1.00 each. I try to get all games like this for a dollar each unless its a game I know is rare or that I want to play. I will attempt to grab a larg lot  at a price lower than a dollar if they have many that works most of the time. these were all in great condition. MVP06, Wolverine's Revenge, Backyard Football, Tiger Woods 04, NCAA 2k3.

Monitor,keyboard, calculator

Grabbed this lot for $5.00, HP VS-15 monitor, HP KU-0841 keyboard and Sharp Elsi mate EC-1611A. Great pick up all 3 are nice items and cleaned up well and work great.
